§ 34-10-1 — Definitions

Text

As used in this chapter, the term:

(1)"Hazardous chemical" means any chemical, which is a physical hazard or a health hazard, as those terms are defined in Code Section 45-22-2 .
(2)"Labor pool" means a business entity which operates by:
(A)Contracting with other entities or persons to supply them with temporary employees for short-term assignments of casual labor;
(B)Hiring persons to fulfill these contracts for short-term assignments of casual labor; and (C) Employing each individual employee no longer than the time period required to complete the assignment for which that individual employee was hired, although an individual may be eligible for rehire when additional temporary assignments are available. A business entity which fulfills any contracts in accordance with this paragraph
