Text
(a)An applicant for a license as a nuclear pharmacist shall:
(1)Be a currently licensed pharmacist in the State of Georgia;
(2)Meet the minimum requirements and be licensed to possess and use radioactive materials for medical use, as authorized by the department; and (3) Have met all requirements for training and experience established by the board in rules and regulations promulgated pursuant to this authority; provided, however, rules and regulations prescribing training and experience requirements for nuclear pharmacists shall have first been approved by the department.
(b)A license as a nuclear pharmacist shall be issued to any pharmacist who makes application to the board, together with a required fee, and meets the requirements of subsection (a) of this Code section.
