Text

(a)As used in this Code section the term "court" means all trial courts within this state including, but not limited to, superior, juvenile, state, magistrate, probate, municipal, and special courts, whether called mayor's courts, recorder's courts, police courts, civil courts, traffic courts, or miscellaneous courts or any other trial court created in this state under any other name.
(b)The authority shall act as collecting and remitting agent with respect to the costs, fees, and surcharges for certain costs, fees, or surcharges by any clerk of court or other officer or agent of any court. The authority in performing this function shall receive and disburse such funds only in the capacity of a custodial trustee, and such funds shall not in the process of receipt and disbursement become
