(a)A law school in this state which has established a legal aid agency or proposes to establish a legal aid agency may obtain approval thereof by applying for that purpose to a judge of the superior court in the county in which the legal aid agency is operating or proposes to operate.
(b)The application shall be made in the name of the dean of the law school. It shall request the judge to approve the legal aid agency conducted or proposed by the law school and to establish a standard of indigency appropriate to that county for determining the persons who may be served by the legal aid agency.
