(a)The periodic review hearing requirements under Code Sections 15-11-216 , 15-11-217 , and 15-11-218 shall apply to proceedings involving a child alleged or adjudicated to have committed a delinquent act and placed in foster care.
(b)When a child is committed to DJJ and for whom a determination has been made that the child's continuation in his or her home is contrary to the child's welfare and he or she is placed in a nonsecure residential facility, such child shall receive a periodic review before an administrative review panel within DJJ within six months following the date the child entered the nonsecure residential facility and every six months thereafter while the child remains in such facility.
