Text

(a)An online dating operator that does not conduct a criminal background screening on each user shall, before permitting a Connecticut user to communicate through the online dating platform with another user, provide the Connecticut user with a clear and conspicuous notification that the online dating operator does not conduct a criminal background screening on each user.
(b)An online dating operator that offers services to residents of this state and conducts a criminal background screening on each user shall, before permitting a Connecticut user to communicate through the platform with another user:
