§ 33-9-104 — Division of parks and wildlife - creation - duties

Colorado·Title 33 Parks and·Art. Administration of Parks and Wildlife
(1)There is hereby created a division of parks and wildlife in the department of natural resources, also referred to in this article as the division. The division is under the jurisdiction of the commission.
(2)The division is a type 1 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105, and exercises its powers and performs its duties and functions specified in this title 33 under the department of natural resources and the executive director thereof. The division has all the powers, duties, obligations, and functions previously exercised by the division of wildlife or the division of parks and outdoor recreation, as those divisions existed on June 30, 2011.
