Text
(1)(a) The office of
director of the division is hereby created. The commission, with the consent of the
executive director, shall appoint the director. The director shall devote his or her
entire time to the service of the state in the discharge of his or her official duties
and shall not hold any other public office. The appointment or removal of the
director is subject to section 13 of article XII of the state constitution. The director
shall possess such qualifications as may be established by the commission, the
executive director, and the state personnel director.
