Text
A person who acts or attempts
to act as a professional cash-bail agent or cash-bonding agent and who is not
registered as such under this article 23 commits a class 2 misdemeanor. Upon
conviction, the court shall require the person to disgorge any profits from acting as
a professional cash-bail agent or cash-bonding agent and forward the profits to the
state treasurer, who shall deposit the moneys in the general fund.
