Text
(1)The following
applicants shall be exempt from the written examination requirements set forth in
section 10-2-402:
(a)An individual who applies for an insurance producer license in this state
who was previously licensed for the same lines of authority in this state or another
state shall not be required to complete any prelicensing education or examination.
This exemption is only available to a nonresident applicant if:
(I)(A) The person is currently licensed in his or her home state for the same
line or lines of authority; or
(B)The application is received within twelve months after the cancellation of
the applicant's previous license; and
(II)(A) The prior state issues a certification that, at the time of cancellation,
the applicant was in good standing in that state;
