Text
(1)In addition to the contents required or
permitted by the general corporation laws of this state relating to corporations not
for profit, the articles of incorporation of any corporation shall comply with the
following:
(a)The name of the corporation shall not include the words insurance,
casualty, surety, mutual, or any other words descriptive of the insurance,
casualty, or surety business. The corporate name of any corporation formed under
this article shall not be the same as and shall be distinguishable on the records of
the secretary of state from the name of any other corporation authorized to do
business in this state; and
(b)The statement of purposes shall be in conformity with the provisions of
part 1 of this article and this part 3.
