Text
(1)A carrier offering an
individual or group health benefit plan in this state shall not discriminate with
respect to participation under the plan or coverage against any provider who is
acting within the scope of his or her license or certification under applicable state
law.
(2)This section does not:
(a)Require a carrier to contract with any provider willing to abide by the
terms and conditions for participation established by the plan or carrier; or
(b)Prevent a carrier from establishing varying reimbursement rates based on
quality or performance measures.
