Text
Any attorney, agent, or
representative who, except for the purpose of applying for a certificate of authority,
exchanges any contracts of indemnity of the kind and character specified in section
10-13-101 or directly or indirectly solicits or negotiates any application for the same
without first complying with the provisions of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one
hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars.
