Text
The provisions of
this article shall apply to all title insurance companies, title insurance rating
organizations, title insurance agents, applicants for title insurance, policyholders,
and persons and business entities deemed to be engaged in the business of title
insurance. In addition to the provisions of this article, the laws governing insurance
companies, except as they are inconsistent with the provisions or purposes of this
article, shall apply to such persons and entities.
