(1)In accordance with 29
U.S.C. sec. 3121, every two years the state council, in consultation with local elected
officials, shall conduct a process to identify planning regions. A local area must not
be placed in a planning region without the support and agreement of the work force
development board and the chief elected official.
(2)Local chief elected officials may review the regional planning area
designation every two years before an updated state plan is submitted.
