Text
(1)There shall be established,
in each local work force development area of the state, a work force board, which
the local elected officials of the local work force development area shall appoint to
oversee the one-stop operator, one-stop career center, or local work force
development programs in that county or area. Work force boards operate in
partnership with and subject to the approval of the local elected officials for the
work force development area. Such boards are authorized to operate only with the
approval of the local elected officials. Subject to requirements under the federal
act, the local elected officials shall determine the membership and functions of the
boards.
(2)Membership of each such board must include, at a minimum:
(a)Repealed.
