Text
If the division believes that the
collection of any premiums, surcharges, penalties, or interest under the provisions
of articles 70 to 82 of this title will be jeopardized by delay, whether or not the time
otherwise prescribed by articles 70 to 82 of this title or any rules issued pursuant
thereto for making reports and paying such premiums or surcharges has expired, it
may immediately assess such premiums and surcharges, together with all penalties
and interest, the assessment of which is provided for by articles 70 to 82 of this
title. Such premiums, surcharges, penalties, and interest shall thereupon become
immediately due and payable, and immediate notice and demand shall be made by
the division for the payment thereof.
