§ 8-76-111 — Coverage of state employees
(1)(a) The state of Colorado hereby
elects, effective January 1, 1976, with respect to all services performed in the
employ of this state or any branch or department thereof or any instrumentality
thereof which is not otherwise an employer subject to this title, to become a
reimbursing employer subject to this title, and all services performed in the employ
of this state or any branch or department or instrumentality thereof shall constitute
employment. This election does not apply to political subdivisions of this state.
(b)Repealed.
(2)As used in this section, prior to January 1, 1978, services performed in the
employ of this state means employment in the state personnel system of this state
as defined in section 13 of article XII of the state constitution and article 50 of
