It is the
duty of all officers and employees of the state, counties, and municipalities, upon
the request of the director, to enforce in their respective departments all lawful
orders of the director insofar as the same may be applicable and consistent with
the general duties of such officers and employees. It is also their duty to make to
the director such reports as the director may require concerning matters within
their knowledge pertaining to the purposes of articles 40 to 47 of this title and to
furnish the director such facts, data, statistics, and information as, from time to
time, may come to them pertaining to the purposes of said articles and the duties of
the division thereunder, and particularly all information coming to their knowledge
