Text
(1)The executive director has the discretion to grant to any employer who has
accepted the provisions of articles 40 to 47 of this title permission to be its own
insurance carrier for the payment of the compensation and benefits provided by
said articles. Such permission may be granted by the executive director after the
filing by an employer of such statement and the giving of such information as may
be required by the executive director. The executive director has the sole power to
prescribe the rules, regulations, orders, terms, and conditions upon which said
