Text
(1)The
general assembly hereby finds and declares that in order to give full effect to state
programs for the conservation of fuel and not to impede or prevent the execution of
any fuel conservation powers the governor may impose pursuant to part 3 of article
20 of title 24, C.R.S., it is necessary to enact this section. The general assembly
further finds and declares that it is necessary to enact this section in order for
certain industries to support and cooperate with such state programs and powers
and to assist their employees in the conservation of fuel by providing opportunity
for certain employers to establish four-day workweeks thereby omitting one day of
travel to and from work for employees.
(2)For purposes of section 8-13-102, period of employment means time
