Text
(1)Any minor fourteen or fifteen years of
age who wishes to work on school days during school hours shall first secure a
school release permit. The permit shall be issued only by the school district
superintendent, his agent, or some other person designated by the board of
education. The school release permit shall be issued only for a specific position with
a designated employer. The permit shall be for a specific length of time not to
exceed thirty days. The permit shall be canceled upon the termination of such
employment and shall be issued only in the following circumstances:
(a)If the minor is to be employed in an occupation not prohibited by section
8-12-110 and as evidence thereof presents a signed statement from his prospective
employer; and
