Text
As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Repealed.
(2)Director means the director of the division of labor standards and
statistics.
(3)Division means the division of labor standards and statistics in the
department of labor and employment.
(4)Employment means any occupation engaged in for compensation in
money or other valuable consideration, whether paid to the minor or to some other
person, including, but not limited to, occupation as a servant, agent, subagent, or
independent contractor.
(5)Minor means any person under the age of eighteen, except a person
who has received a high school diploma or a passing score on the general
educational development examination. The state board of education may
administer the general educational development
