Text
(1)The secretary of
state shall issue to any person, upon request, a copy of any document filed by the
secretary of state pursuant to this title, a certificate endorsed on or accompanying
a copy of any filed document identifying the filed document and certifying that the
copy is a true copy of the filed document, and, if appropriate, a certificate of good
standing concerning any entity. The secretary of state may issue to any person,
upon request, any other certificate as to the records of the secretary of state that
the secretary of state deems appropriate.
(2)A certificate issued by the secretary of state may be relied upon, subject
to any qualification stated in the certificate, as prima facie evidence of the facts
stated therein.
