Text
(1)Whenever the corporate life of any
such ditch or reservoir company has expired or is about to expire, the stockholders
may vote upon the question of extending the life of such company for another
twenty years, or for any other term provided by statute, by first giving notice of
such intention by publication for two successive weeks in the newspaper printed
nearest the place where the principal operations of said company are carried on.
Such notice shall be signed by stockholders owning at least ten percent of the
entire capital stock of said company, and shall state the place where and the time
when the question of renewal shall be submitted to the votes of the stockholders of
said company at the meeting held in pursuance of such notice, if a majority of the
stock of the corp
