Text
An amendment
to the articles of incorporation does not affect any existing right of persons other
than shareholders, any cause of action existing against or in favor of the
corporation, or any proceeding to which the corporation is a party. An amendment
changing a corporation's domestic entity name does not abate a proceeding
brought by or against a corporation in its former entity name.
