(a)Except as provided in subdivision (c), upon the patient’s written request, any corporation described in Section 56.06, or any other entity that compiles or maintains medical information for any reason, shall provide the patient, at no charge, with a copy of any medical profile, summary, or information maintained by the corporation or entity with respect to the patient.
(b)A request by a patient pursuant to this section shall not be deemed to be an authorization by the
patient for the release or disclosure of any information to any person or entity other than the patient.
(c)This section shall not apply to any patient records that are subject to inspection by the patient pursuant to Section 123110 of the Health and Safety Code and shall not be deemed to limit the right of a health ca
