Text
(a)If the value of the property involved in a transaction is five hundred dollars ($500) or less, a person who violates this chapter is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
(b)If the value of the property involved in a transaction is greater than five hundred dollars ($500), a person who violates this chapter is guilty of a Class D felony.
