§ 12-9-108 — Notice for terminating an agreement
(a)Notwithstanding any agreement and except as otherwise
provided in this act, the manufacturer shall furnish written
notice of the termination, cancellation, nonrenewal or
discontinuance of an agreement to the distributor not less than
thirty (30) days before the effective date of the termination,
cancellation, nonrenewal or discontinuance. In no event shall
the contractual term of any agreement expire, without the
written consent of the malt beverage distributor involved, prior
to the expiration of at least thirty (30) days following the
written notice. The notice shall be by certified mail and shall
contain the following:
(i)A statement of intention to terminate, cancel,
not renew or discontinue the agreement;
(ii)A statement of the reason for the termination,
cancellation, nonrenewa
