Text
(a)Regulation of business relations between malt beverage
distributors and manufacturers serves a significant and
legitimate public purpose.
(b)This act is intended to control and stabilize the
distribution of malt beverages in the state and comprises an
integral part of a comprehensive legislative regulation.
(c)This act is enacted pursuant to authority of the state
under the provisions of the twenty-first amendment to the United
States constitution to promote the public's interest in fair,
efficient and competitive distribution of malt beverage products
by regulation and encouragement of manufacturers and
distributors to conduct their business relations toward these
ends by:
(i)Assuring that the malt beverage distributor is
free to manage its business enterprise, including the
