Text
(a)The charges for the use of the sewerage system may be
changed from time to time and except as otherwise provided in
W.S. 15-7-407 shall be fixed at a rate which equitably
distributes the cost of service among the users. If any service
charge is not paid within thirty (30) days after it is due, the
amount thereof, together with a penalty of ten percent (10%),
and a reasonable attorney's fee, may be recovered in a civil
action by the city or town.
(b)Any city or town issuing bonds under this article
shall maintain a proper system of accounts showing the amount of
revenue received from the sewerage system and its application.
At least once each year the accounts shall be properly audited
and a report of the audit shall be open for inspection at all
proper times to any taxpayer, sewerage
