§ 9-6-210 — Administration
Wyoming·Title 09 Administration of the Government·Ch. 6 NUCLEAR COOPERATION AND RADIOACTIVE·Art. 2 NORTHWEST INTERSTATE COMPACT ON LOW-LEVEL
(a)The environmental quality council may promulgate rules
necessary to administer this state's rights and responsibilities
under the Northwest Interstate Compact on Low-Level Waste
Management. Enforcement shall be pursuant to article 9 of
chapter 11 of the Wyoming Environmental Quality Act, with the
right of judicial review as provided for in W.S. 35-11-1001.
(b)The department of environmental quality shall
cooperate and coordinate with all federal and state agencies
with jurisdiction over packaging and transportation of low-level
radioactive waste in order to avoid inconsistent or duplicative
actions.
(c)The council or department shall not impose
requirements or regulations more stringent than those required
by the compact or by federal law unless otherwise authorized by
law, and shall
