Text
All instruments, writs, process of any kind, or attested copies
thereof by which any prisoner is committed or released shall be
endorsed and filed in some suitable place and all such documents
shall be delivered to the successor of the officer having charge
of the prisoner or succeeding to the office of sheriff.
