Text
(a)The department may enter into contracts with other
states to provide for:
(i)The admission to facilities, schools or hospitals
in other states of persons admitted to or entitled to admission
for residential services in the center, when it can be shown
that admission to a facility in another state is in the best
interests of the person and the state of Wyoming;
(ii)The admission to the center of residents of
other states when it can be shown that admission to the center
for residential services is in the best interests of the person
and the state of Wyoming, and that the person's need for
services has been determined in accordance with this act.
(b)The expense of transferring persons from the center to
other states shall be paid by the center. The expense of
