Text
(a)Any individual who holds himself out to the public as
a professional geologist in this state without being licensed or
exempted in accordance with the provisions of this act, or any
individual presenting or attempting to use as his own the
license or the seal or another, or any person who shall
knowingly give any false or forged evidence of any kind to the
board or to any member thereof in obtaining a license or
certificate, or any individual who shall violate any of the
provisions of this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction may be fined not to exceed seven hundred fifty
dollars ($750.00), imprisoned up to six (6) months, or both. A
conviction in a court of law for any of these offenses shall be
grounds for the revocation of the license or certificate.
