Text
(a)The board may issue a license to any individual who
has made application, has provided proof of certification,
registration or licensure under requirements which the board
determines to be substantially similar to those established
pursuant to this act, and has paid any applicable fees.
(b)The board may also issue a license to any geologist
who has made application and paid the applicable fees, has
provided proof of certification, registration or licensure in
another jurisdiction and has provided proof of experience in the
practice of geology. The acceptable number of years of
experience and licensure shall be determined by the board.
