Text
(a)On and after January 1, 1978, each hearing aid
specialist applying for a renewal of his license shall furnish
to the board evidence that during the preceding year he has
completed one (1) of the following continuing education
programs:
(i)Educational programs conducted by the board;
(ii)Board approved training schools conducted by
hearing aid manufacturers for their representatives;
(iii)Board approved training sessions conducted by
the National Hearing Aid Society; or
(iv)Other educational means approved by the board.
(b)The amount of continued education shall be determined
by the rules and regulations of the board. The board shall send
a written notice to this effect to every person holding a valid
license at least thirty (30) days prior to the license renewal
