Text
Upon filing of the petition the board of the county
commissioners at a regular or special meeting, or the chairman
of the board, if in his judgment an emergency exists, shall
appoint a suitable and disinterested person, who may be a member
of the board of county commissioners, to examine into the
expediency of the proposed road, alteration or vacation thereof,
and to report immediately.
