Text
(a)The board of county commissioners of any county, may,
on its own motion by resolution duly adopted, where it deems the
public interest so requires, initiate the procedure for the
establishment, vacation or alteration of a county highway, as
the case may be, by setting forth in such resolution the point
of commencement, the course and the point of termination of said
road to be established, altered or vacated, as the case may be,
and thereafter following out the provisions of article 2,
chapter 52, Wyoming Revised Statutes, 1931, not inconsistent
therewith. If the motion specifies vacation of a county road,
alley or highway located within one and one half (1 ½) miles of
the boundary of a city or town, the board shall notify the
governing body of the city or town.
