§ 37-13-110 — Notice of public hearing on proposed improvement; manner of giving
The notice shall be published in full one (1) time in a
newspaper of general circulation in the county, city, or town in
which the proposed district is located and by posting in not
less than three (3) public places in the district. A copy of the
notice shall be mailed to each owner of land within the proposed
district whose property will be assessed for the cost of the
improvement, at the address last appearing on the real property
assessment rolls of the county wherein the property is located.
In addition, a copy of the notice shall be addressed to "owner"
and mailed to the street number of each piece of property to be
affected by the assessment. Mailed notices and the published
notice shall state where a copy of the resolution creating the
district is available for inspection.
