§ 9-12-106 — Planning and research
Wyoming·Title 09 Administration of the Government·Ch. 12 WYOMING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACT·Art. 1 IN GENERAL
(a)It shall also be the duty of the council to:
(i)Develop a comprehensive economic development
strategy for the state, starting the first year of each new
gubernatorial administration, consistent with the provisions of
this act; and
(ii)Conduct such studies and research, in
collaboration with state agencies, university and community
colleges, local and regional industrial authorities and
organizations, and other persons within and without the state,
as the council may deem necessary, to assist in the development
of the comprehensive economic strategy and the development of
recommendations and advice on the improvement of economic
development and related programs and strategies across the
state.
(b)The council may establish a Wyoming market research
center to conduct regional, national
