Text
(a)If after the hearing, the governing body of the
annexing city or town finds that the conditions and procedures
required by W.S. 15-1-402, 15-1-404 and 15-1-405 have been met
and the terms and conditions in the written petition exist, it
may by ordinance annex the city or town.
(b)A certified copy of the annexation ordinance including
a legal description of the area and the map prepared pursuant to
W.S. 15-1-402(c)(i) and in accordance with W.S. 33-29-801 shall
be filed with the county clerk of the county in which the action
has taken place.
