Text
A county court, a county board of education or a municipal government is hereby authorized and empowered to become a community action program organization or agency pursuant to Title II of the "Federal Economic Opportunity Act of 1964," as amended. If any one of the foregoing governmental agencies shall be designated under said Title II as a community action program organization or agency, it shall have the power and authority to conduct, operate and manage a community action program in conformity with the requirements of the federal Economic Opportunity Act; to apply for, receive and disburse all federal funds made available to it for the purpose of carrying out its duties under the federal Economic Opportunity Act; and to receive grants and gifts from private or local public sources and
