Text

In furtherance of this objective, the Governor is authorized to extend official recognition to duly constituted community action program organizations which comply, or are in the process of complying, with regulations as established by the federal Office of Economic Opportunity or its delegate agencies. Such official recognition shall be established by the Governor notifying the president, chairman, administrator, or other chief executive officer of a community action program organization, in writing, of his acceptance of that body as an officially recognized community action program organization.
