§ 17A-11-4 — Authority of members of official highway department weighing crews and Public Service Commission, motor carrier employees

West Virginia·Ch. 17A MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, AND ANTITHEFT PROVISIONS·Art. 11 PENALTIES

Employees of the department of highways designated by the commissioner of highways as weight enforcement officers and employees of the Public Service Commission designated by the chairman as commercial vehicle enforcement officers, shall, during the course of their normal duties, have concurrent jurisdiction with police officers in the enforcement of article nine of this chapter.
