§ 17A-10-11 — Fees for duplicate registration plates, registration cards and certificates of title
West Virginia·Ch. 17A MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, AND ANTITHEFT PROVISIONS·Art. 10 FEES FOR REGISTRATION, LICENSING, ETC
A fee of $10 shall be paid for the issuance of duplicate or substitute registration plates, registration cards or certificates of title. The Division of Motor Vehicles may adjust this fee every five years on September 1, based on the U.
S.Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics most current Consumer Price Index: Provided, That an increase in such fee may not exceed ten percent of the total fee amount in a single year. The provisions of this article enacted in 2017 take effect on July 1, 2017.
