Text
After notice and public hearing, the Commission may authorize a municipality that has acquired or constructed and is operating a municipal plant to extend its mains or lines into an adjoining municipality in order to distribute and sell gas or electricity, provided that the outlying municipality is not then being supplied with gas or electricity by a municipal plant or by a utility or provided that the Commission finds that it will promote the general good of the State so to do. Such authorization shall be upon the terms and conditions and with the limitations and restrictions as the Commission finds will promote the general good of the State. (Amended 1959, No. 329 (Adj.
