This act shall be under the control of future legislation to alter or amend as the public good may require, and shall take effect whenever a majority of the legal voters resident within the limits of that part of the Town of Barton, which prior to March 31 A.D. 1892 was known and designated as School District Number Seven in the Town, present at a meeting of the voters legally notified and warned to be held at the school house in the Village of Barton Landing on the third Tuesday of March, A.D. 1895, shall vote to accept the provision of this act; the notice and warning for the meeting shall be made by one of the Selectboard members of the Town of Barton, to be held as aforesaid, giving at least ten days’ notice of the time and place of such meeting, and such notices to be posted in three
