Text

Benefits shall be deemed to be due and payable under this chapter only to the extent provided in this chapter and to the extent that monies are available for the payment of benefits to the credit of the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund. Neither the State nor the Commissioner shall be liable for any amount in excess of such sums. (Amended 1959, No. 329 (Adj. Sess.), § 22, eff. March 1, 1961; 1961, No. 210, § 15, eff.
