(1)(1)(a) In judicial districts having more than one justice court judge, the justice court judges shall elect one judge of the district to the office of presiding judge.
(1)(b) The presiding judge shall receive an additional $2,000 per annum as compensation from the Justice Court Technology, Security, and Training Account described in Section 78A-7-301 for the period served as presiding judge.
(2)(2)(a) In judicial districts having more than two justice court judges, the justice court judges may elect one judge of the district to the office of associate presiding judge.
(2)(b) The associate presiding judge shall receive an additional $1,000 per annum as compensation from the Justice Court Technology, Security, and Training Account described in Section 78A-7-301 for the period served as
